Total assets of Azerbaijan’s banking sector reached AZN 29.8 bn

December, Fineko/abc.az. The Financial Market Supervision Chamber (FIMSA) has announced banking sector statistics for the first 11 months of 2018.

FIMSA reports that as of 30 November 2018 total assets of the domestic banking system amounted to AZN 29.827 bn.

"On 30 November the loan portfolio amounted to AZN 12.17 bn, liabilities AZN 25.579 bn, and capitalization of the banking sector AZN 4.247 bn," FIMSA said.

The country numbered 508 branches and 141 sub-branches of 30 banks during the reporting period.
