Sofaz to receive $7.7 bn from profit oil & gas from ACG and Shah Deniz fields in 2019

January 3, Fineko/abc.az. This year, the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (Sofaz) will receive $7.734 bn from profit oil from fields Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz.

According to Accounts Chamber’s conclusion on Sofaz draft budget 2019, $6.79 bn will come from sale of profit oil from oilfield block Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli.

"Another $944 million will be received from sale of profit gas from Shah Deniz gas condensate field," the conclusion says.

According to forecasts, Sofaz will get $7.775 bn or AZN 13.218 bn from sale of profit oil and gas in 2019.
