Azerbaijani oil has grown in price

January 17, Fineko/abc.az. The price of a barrel of Azerbaijani oil grade Azeri Light has increased by $1.23 (2%).

Today cost of oil grade Azeri Light is $62.75 a barrel.

At the New York Merchant Exchange (NYMEX) following the trading on 16 January the value of February’s futures of oil grade WTI grew in price by $0.20 (0.38%) up to $52.31 a barrel.

At the London ICE (InterContinental Exchange Futures) following the Wednesday’s trading the cost of March’s futures of oil grade of Brent crude increased by $0.68 (1.12%) up to $61.32 a barrel.

The difference in price of the WTI and Brent grades is $9.01 on a barrel.
