January 22, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan`s GDP grew by 1.4% in 2018.

The State Statistics Committee reports that country's GDP amounted to AZN 79.797 bn by the end of 2018 with annual growth of 1.4%.

"In 2018 growth of non-oil GDP made up 1.8% and oil GDP 0.6%. GDP per capita at the end of 2018 amounted to 8,126.2 manats," the Committee said.

The SSC informs that last year 44.2% of country's GDP was formed by production, 9.6% by trade and repair of motor vehicles, 8% by construction, 6.3% by transport and warehousing, 5.3% by agriculture, forestry and fisheries, 2.2% by accommodation of tourists and catering services, 1.6 by communications and information, 15% by other spheres. Taxes on goods and exports made up 7.8% of Azerbaijan's GDP in 2018.
