January 22, Fineko/abc.az. Tax Minister Mikayil Jabbarov has met with leading representatives of the country`s trade.

During the meeting the minister informed the entrepreneurs about tax reforms, transition to policy of transparent relations between tax officials and taxpayers.

"Participation in the "shadow economy" is not proper and long lasting not only from angle of taxation, but also from angle of reporting and capitalization. It may also create difficulties for raising investments and access to bank resources. Concealment of income and real wages, as well as use of illegal employment creates problems not only for the state, but also for the social security of citizens in the future," the minister emphasized.

Jabbarov pointed out that although the role of trade in the formation of GDP is quite large, simultaneously, it is a sphere where "shadow economy" elements are met most of all.
