Energy Minister: Azerbaijan to improve performance of OPEC+ obligations

March 18, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan will improve the indicators on oil production cuts undertaken within the framework of OPEC+.

At the press conference following the 13th meeting of the OPEC+ Ministerial Monitoring Committee Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov stated that Azerbaijan has always fulfilled its commitments since the creation of the OPEC+ format.

"Last December, Azerbaijan undertook a new commitment and began its implementation in January. In the first half of the year Azerbaijan will fully fulfill its obligations on the reduction of oil production, and we’ll improve this figure next month," the minister emphasized.
