Azerbaijan begins using Russian payment card ‘Mir’

April 18, Fineko/abc.az. Russian payment card ‘Mir’ is likely to appear on the payment market of Azerbaijan until the end of 2019.

RIA Novosti reports that the statement was made by Vladimir Komlev, the head of the National Payment Card System (NPCS).

"NPCS continues working actively over the reception of card Mir in the CIS and other countries popular among the Russian tourists. By the end of 2019, in our plans the Mir cards should be accepted already not in seven, but in 12 countries, of course, it is Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan and Bulgaria," Komlev emphasized.
