April 22, Fineko/abc.az. Ecology & Natural Resources Minister Mukhtar Babayev of Azerbaijan spoke at the 4th SOCAR International Forum "Caspian & Central Asia: Trade, Logistics, Oil Refining, Petrochemistry".

According to Babayev, today goods and cargo of not only neighboring countries, but also such large producers as China and Japan are transported to Europe through Azerbaijan.

"However, despite all that, the impact on the environment should be minimized. The system should be built in such a way as to minimize the impact on the nature of the Caspian Sea. Azerbaijan is rich not only in hydrocarbons and we have rich ore reserves. Currently, a broad program is being developed to attract investors in this sphere," the minister said.
