April 26, Fineko/abc.az. Today, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Russian President Vladimir Putin have met in Beijing.

The sides discussed questions of cooperation in the political, economic, energy, infrastructure, investment, agricultural, oil and gas, transport, industrial, pharmaceutical, educational, cultural and humanitarian spheres, including the prospects of development of North-South transport corridor.

The presidents also covered the successful work of the Intergovernmental Commission and stressed good opportunities for further expansion of economic cooperation.

A matter of Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was discussed during the conversation as well. President Putin stated that Russia will continue work on the settlement of the conflict as a co-chair of the Minsk Group.
