Tourists ensured non-cash payment turnover of AZN 271,000 for Azerbaijan in Q1 of 2019

April 30, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Mar of the current year Azerbaijan was visited by 610,800 citizens from 157 countries.

March’s issue of journal ‘Export Review’ of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications says that in the 1st quarter of 2019 the foreigners carried out non-cash transactions for AZN 271.6 million in the country.

"In March alone the foreigners spent AZN 98 million in Azerbaijan through bank cards," the Review says.
