Prices for oil slump in trading on Monday

May 6, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani oil Azeri Light has grown in price by $0.09 (0.12%) up to $74.97 a barrel.

Following the 3 May trading at the New York Merchant Exchange (NYMEX), the contract for June’s futures WTI increased in price by $0.13 (0.21%) up to $61.94 a barrel.

Quotations of WTI oil futures for June fell in price by $1.38 (2.23%) up to $60.56 a barrel by 9:10 am.

Following Friday’s trading at the London ICE (InterContinental Exchange Futures) the ICE Futures contracts of July’s futures of Brent oil grew in price by $0.10 (0.14%) up to $70.85 a barrel.

July’s futures for Brent declined by $1.45 (2.05%) to $69.40 a barrel by 9:10 am.
