Oil prices rise

May 7, Fineko/abc.az. The prices for the oil of standard grades are increasing weakly on Tuesday.

Following the 6 May trading at the New York Merchant Exchange (NYMEX), the contract for June’s futures WTI increased in price by $0.31 (0.5%) up to $62.25 a barrel.

Quotations of WTI oil futures for June increase in price by $0.17 (0.27%) up to $62.42 a barrel by 11:00 am.

Following Monday’s trading at the London ICE (InterContinental Exchange Futures) the ICE Futures contracts of July’s futures of Brent oil grew in price by $0.39 (0.55%) up to $71.24 a barrel.

July’s futures for Brent declined by $0.04 (0.06%) to $71.20 a barrel by 11:00 am.
