May 13, Fineko/abc.az. In the first quarter of 2019 operating expenses on Shah Deniz field amounted to $191 million and capital expenditures exceeded $267 million.

Larger part of the main costs are related to Shah Deniz Project 2.

Gas supplies from Shah Deniz field to the markets of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Georgia (GOGC), Turkey (BOTAS) and BTC for numerous facilities continued during the first quarter.

During the 1st quarter 4.3 bn standard cu m of gas and about 1 million tons (7.5 million barrels) of condensate were extracted from the Shah Deniz Alpha and Shah Deniz Bravo platforms.

Currently, the production capacity of the existing facilities of Shah Deniz is about 56 million cu m a day (about 20 bn a year).
