Azerbaijan has repaired a 417 km section of railway line Baku - Boyuk Kesik

November 29, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani Railways (ADY) continues capital repairs of railroad Baku - Boyuk Kesik.

ADY reports that overhaul of the 11.5-km Kurekchay-Dalimammadli section of the railroad has started.

"Repairs of this section will finish within two weeks," ADY informed.

On 14 April 2015 ADY and Czech company MORAVIA STEEL signed an additional agreement to the export agreement on the 2nd phase of the project of reconstruction of Azerbaijani railway lines. The contract provides for logistics and overhaul of the 600 km railway line Baku – Boyuk Kesik. To date, 417 km of railroads have been repaired within the 2nd phase.
