June 4, Fineko/abc.az. Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev has stated that about 1 million jobs were created and investments for $3.3 bn made in the industrial districts of Azerbaijan for the past year.

During his speech at conference "Government is the Best Partner of the Entrepreneur" the minister underlined that the number of participants registered in the industrial districts of the country is 36. Investments for totally AZN 140 million and creation of up to 2,000 jobs are planned.

21 of those enterprises have already started production activity. This year, another 15 enterprises will be put into operation.

The minister added that the Small & Medium Business House will open in Baku by the end of this year, and relevant work is underway.
