A water treatment plant under construction in Naftalan

June 12, Fineko/abc.az. The construction of water treatment plants in Shemakha, Gabala and Goychay within the framework of projects implemented by order of Azerbaijani water supplier operator Azersu ahs been finished.

Currently, the construction of such facilities is underway in Agdash, Agjabedi, Beylagan, Gobustan, Khizi, Dashkesan, Khachmaz and Naftalan.

The construction of a biological type device for water purification in Naftalan with capacity of 6,000 cu m a day will be completed by the end of this year.

Azersu built 36.8 km of drinking water network in Naftalan within the framework of a joint project with the Japanese International Cooperation Agency.
