OPEC+ countries agree to postpone a meeting

June 20, Fineko/abc.az. Time of the sessions of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has been changed.

OPEC reports that the OPEC+ countries agreed to postpone the date of the upcoming meeting for 1-2 July.

"The 176th meeting of the OPEC Council of Ministers, scheduled for 25-26 June, and the 6th Ministerial Meeting of OPEC Member States and Non-OPEC members, have been rescheduled for 1-2 July. Also, on 1 July the 15th Ministerial Meeting of the OPEC+ Joint Monitoring Committee will be held," OPEC informed.

On 7 December 2018 Vienna hosted the 5th Ministerial Meeting of the Member States and Non-OPEC Members, during which agreements were reached on oil production cuts by 1.2 million bpd. The implementation of the Declaration on Cooperation is scheduled for the first half of 2019.
