December 5, Fineko/abc.az. The Collegiate Organ of the Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan has held a meeting devoted to implementation of the forecast of State Budget revenues.

The Ministry reports that Tax Minister Fazil Mammadov delivered speech at the meeting.

"Over Jan-Oct of the year the Ministry registered 134,566 taxpayers, including 9,864 legal entities and 124,702 individuals engaged in individual entrepreneurship," Mammadov stated.

During the reporting period it was registered 3,189 VAT-payers, including 2,359 legal entities and 830 individuals.

"Over the reporting period the coverage of e-audit among large taxpayers has expanded and innovative system of "risk management" for detection of tax evasion is applied. An increase in tax revenues to the country’s budget is observed," the minister said.

With the purpose to meet budget forecasts on transfers of taxes and duties the Tax Ministry decided to create a special staff. The staff will conduct analysis to determine tax potential, select a type of tax control in order to ensure tax collections, ensure coordination between the structural units of the Ministry and provide full implementation of the forecast on tax charges.

The plan for Tax Ministry on transfers to the State Budget 2017 is AZN 7.645 bn.
