Oil falls in price after a 2% price jump a day before, and Azeri Light rises only by 0.5%

July 4, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani oil Azeri Light has decreased in price by $0.35 (0.54%) up to $65.07 a barrel.

Prices for oil are decreasing during Thursday’s trading after a 2% rise a day before.

Following Wednesday’s trading at the London ICE (InterContinental Exchange Futures; ICE Futures) the price of September’s futures of Brent oil grew by $1.42 (2.28%) up to $63.82 a barrel.

On Thursday, Brent oil futures for September has declined in price by $0.44 (0.69%) to $63.38 a barrel by 9:25 am.

Following the 3 July trading at the New York Merchant Exchange (NYMEX), the WTI oil futures for August increased in price by $1.09 (1.94%) up to $57.34 a barrel.

On Thursday, the cost of WTI oil futures for August reduced in price by $0.38 (0.66%) to $56.96 a barrel by 9:25 am.
