Prices for oil move in opposite directions, and Azeri Light rises up to $65.46

July 5, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani oil Azeri Light has increased in price by $0.39 (0.6%) up to $65.46 a barrel.

Following Thursday’s trading at the London ICE (InterContinental Exchange Futures; ICE Futures) the price of September’s futures of Brent oil declined by $0.52 (0.81%) to $63.30 a barrel.

On Friday, Brent oil futures for September grew in price by $0.10 (0.16%) up to $63.40 a barrel by 9:25 am.

In connection with the Independence Day Holiday trading were not conducted on 4 July, and the price of WTI oil futures for August remained the same - $57.34 a barrel.

On Friday, the cost of WTI oil futures for August decreased in price by $0.52 (0.91%) to $56.82 a barrel by 9:25 am.
