Supreme audit institutions of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia and Ukraine sign Memo of Understanding

July 11, Fineko/abc.az. The opening of project "Strengthening of the capacity of supreme audit institutions of the Eastern Partnership states" has been held in Tbilisi today with the support of the German International Cooperation Society (GIZ). The project will help ensure to monitor the achievement of the goals of the UN Agenda 2030.

According to the Accounts Chamber of Azerbaijan, a delegation led by ACA chair Vugar Gulmamedov took part in the meeting.

The GIZ project envisages meetings, seminars, trainings and exchange of experience between the Eastern Partnership countries, as well as parallel audit of effectiveness.

At the end of the event, the heads of delegations of the supreme audit institutions of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia and Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the purpose to strengthen cooperation in these areas.
