Anglo Asian Mining increased its gold production over Jan-Jun

July 15, Fineko/abc.az. For the first 6 months of 2019 British company Anglo Asian Mining extracted 39,905 ounces of precious metals that is by 7% more against the same term of 2018.

The Company reports that in the 1st half of 2019 AAM produced 34,394 ounces of gold that is by 3.4% versus Jan-Jun 2018.

"Also, for the 1st half of 2019 we produced 963 tons of copper (0.3% more versus Jan-Jun 2018) and 84,586 ounces of silver (by 64.1% less)," AAM says in a statement.

According to the Company, 31,620 ounces of gold were extracted from Gedabek field in the 1st half of 2019 (1.1% more versus 1st half of 2018.

"Out of this volume, AAM sold 26,588 ounces of gold on the world markets that is by 3.1% more than for Jan-Jun 2018. The price of gold sold averaged $1,319 per ounce," it was reported.

At present, AAM produces precious metals on the Gedabek contract area from three mines: two open mines Gedabek and Ugur and one underground mine Gadir.
