July 24, Fineko/abc.az. According to the financial statements for the past 6 months of 2019, the amount of insurance premiums amounted to AZN 4.29 million (AZN 983,791 more versus the 2018 same term).

The indices are presented in the report of the Financial Market Supervision Authority on the insurance sector.

According to the report, the growth of insurance premiums made up 30%. Traditionally, a large portion of the total premiums account for voluntary medical insurance – AZN 3.28 million. Insurance premiums on CASCO more than doubled and on real estate grew by 2.5 times that demonstrates stable positive dynamics. In the 1st half of 2019 A-Group’s policyholders received compensations in the total amount of AZN 4.112 million.

A large part of compensation payments accounts for voluntary medical insurance – AZN 3.998 million. On average, A-Group paid daily payments to customers in the amount of AZN 22,000 for the past 6 months of the year.
