July 31, Fineko/abc.az. The Compulsory Insurers Bureau disseminated information on insurance contracts and insurance cases within the framework of the Green Card system for the first 6 months of 2019.

The CIB report says that for Jan-Jun 2019 the insurers eligible to operate within the Green Card system sold 18,837 insurance certificates (a rise of 16% versus the 2018 same term).

Over the reporting period the premiums collected by insurance companies on Green Card international contracts amounted to AZN 1.359 million (a rise of 15% more against the 2018 relevant period).

However, the number of insured events reached 219 (rise of 5.8% versus the same term of last year).
