Prices for oil go on falling, and Azeri Light fell in price by 1%

August 7, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani oil Azeri Light has decreased in price by $0.63 (1%) up to $62.32 a barrel.

The prices of oil of standard grades continue their decline during Wednesday’s trading amid the expectations that the global demand for fuel will decrease against the background of uncertainty of the global economic forecast.

Following the August 6 trading at the London ICE (InterContinental Exchange Futures; ICE Futures) the price of October’s futures of Brent oil declined by $0.87 (1.46%) to $58.94 a barrel.

On Wednesday, Brent oil futures for October has increased in price by $0.03 (0.05%) to $58.91 a barrel by 9:30 am.

Following the August 6 trading at the NIMYX Exchange the price of September’s futures of WTI oil fell by $1.06 (1.94%) to $53.63 a barrel.

On Wedneday, the cost of WTI oil futures for September has declined in price by $0.01 (0.02%) to $53.62 a barrel by 9:30 am.
