Prices for oil drop to minimum since early 2019, and Azeri Light fell in price by 5.63%

August 8, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani oil Azeri Light has declined in price by $3.51 (5.63%) to $58.81 a barrel.

The prices of oil of standard grades rise during Thursday’s trading after the decline a day before to minimum since early January.

Following the August 7 trading at the London ICE (InterContinental Exchange Futures; ICE Futures) the price of October’s futures of Brent oil fell by $2.71 (4.6%) to $56.23 a barrel.

On Thursday, Brent oil futures for October has increased in price by $1.70 (3.02%) up to $57.92 a barrel by 9:20 am.

Following the August 7 trading at the NIMYX Exchange the price of September’s futures of WTI oil dropped by $2.54 (4.74%) to $51.09 a barrel.

On Thursday, the cost of WTI oil futures for September has grown in price by $1.64 (3.21%) up to $52.73 a barrel by 9:20 am.
