September 24, Fineko/abc.az. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will pay PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) € 74,000 to audit Aztelecom.

According to the information, the results of this audit, which will be carried out in 2019-2020, will affect the bank financing the project that will be implemented by Aztelecom.

The report said that in addition, EBRD will spend  € 50,000 on a consultant who will be invited from Russia for Aztelecom. Thus, in exchange for these funds, the provider will examine the existing tender legislation of Azerbaijan and verify compliance with the EBRD requirements related to delivery.

Aztelecom, the main provider of fixed-line telephone and Internet networks in the regions of Azerbaijan, is preparing to create the fiber-optic network in 10 regions.
