FIMSA clarifies its attitude towards turning Azərsığorta into OJSC

December 13, Fineko/abc.az. The Financial Market Supervision Chamber (FIMSA) has clarified the question of transformation of insurance company Azərsığorta into an open joint stock company.

FIMSA reports that it has received no applications from the state-run commercial insurer on the occasion of its transfer into an OJSC and sale of any part of its equity stake.

Regarding inspection in Azərsığorta, it was noted that those checks are carried out in the company within the current activities of the Chamber.
