October 8, Fineko/abc.az. Up to 1,000 projects have been implemented through the pipeline with the purpose of social and environmental protection within the framework of the TANAP Project, stated TANAP consortium’s CEO

Saltuk Duzyol at a press conference in Istanbul.

Mr. Duzyol points out that international standards of pipeline quality, environmental protection, labor safety and health protection were observed during the project implementation. 131,620 main pipelines were connected within the project. During the construction, more than 5 million cu m of excavations and about 7,000 special passages were carried out. The highest point on which the pipeline runs is 2,760 m, and the deepest one is 65 m below the sea level.
