October 22, Fineko/abc.az. A general meeting of the Association of Legal Entities of the International Association "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route has been held in Tbilisi today.

TIS-Container Terminal and JSC Baku International Trade Sea Port Govsan were accepted as members of the Association at the meeting. At the same time changes were made to the Board of Directors.

Then the meeting participants discussed the matters implementation of the approved volumes of cargo transportation for 9 months of this year, cuts of tariffs for coal transportation via this route from Kazakhstan, initially, tariffs for 2020 were considered.

The participants also heard a report on the activities of company Kazmortransflot in the field of container transportation on the feeder line Aktau-Baku for the last six months, an agreement was reached on the extension of the contract of the company.

The use of feeder vessels of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company CJSC via this route was also discussed.

At the end of the meeting a final document was signed taking into account the proposals of the Azerbaijani side.

Our country was represented at this event by chairman of CJSC Azerbaijan Railways Javid Gurbanov, chairman of CJSC Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company Rauf Veliyev, general director of CJSC Baku International Trade Sea Port Taleh Ziyadov. The event was attended by Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Georgia Dursun Hasanov.
