Average monthly salary at SOCAR grew by 8% last year

November 6, Fineko/abc.az. The total accrued salary and other payments on the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) amounted to AZN 682.15 million, says Company's annual report for 2018.

According to the report, the indicator is by AZN 54 million or 8.6% more against 2017 (AZN 628.14 million). In 2018, as part of the accrued wages and other payments to employees, the amount of official (tariff) salaries amounted to AZN 345.15 million or 51% of the share of the wage fund. The average monthly salary of Company's employees amounted to AZN 1,121.65 in 2018 that is by AZN 84.34 or 8.13% more versus 2017 (AZN 1,037.30).
