Oil falls in price after a sharp rise, and Azeri Light grows by 0.55%

November 8, Fineko/abc.az. The cost of Azerbaijani crude oil Azeri LT CIF increased by $0.37 (0.55%) up to $67.77 a barrel.

Oil of standard grades declines on Friday after its sharp rise in price the day before. Since the beginning of this week Brent has risen by 0.8% and WTI-by 1.3%.

Following trading on 7 November at the London ICE Futures Exchange, the price of January’s futures for Brent grew by $0.55 (0.89%) up to $62.29 a barrel.

January’s futures for Brent 15 decreased by $0.20 (0.32%) to $62.09 a barrel by 9:15 am.

At the end of trading on 7 November at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), the price for December’s WTI futures rose by $0.80 (1.42%) up to $57.15 a barrel.

WTI crude futures for December fell by $0.29 (0.51%) to $56.86 a barrel by 9:20 am.
