Oil rises sharply, and Azeri Light grows in price by 1.84%

November 21, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani crude oil Azeri Light increased by $1.22 (1.84%) up to $67.54 a barrel.

Prices for oil of standard grades have declined in trading on Thursday after a significant rise the day before.

Following the trading on 20 November at the London ICE Futures Exchange, the price of January’s futures for Brent rose by $1.49 (2.45%) up to $62.40 a barrel.

January’s Brent futures fell by $0.20 (0.32%) to $62.20 a barrel by 9:20 am.

Following the trading on 20 November at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), January’s WTI futures rose in price by $1.66 (3%) up to $57.01 a barrel.

WTI crude futures for January fell by $0.14 (0.25%) to $56.67 a barrel by 9:20 am.
