November 27, Fineko/abc.az. With the use of mandatory health insurance (MHI) from 2020, problems in the healthcare system will be solved not entirely, but in stages.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by Ramil Huseyn, the department head of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications, when speaking about the MHI application.

Specifying his opinion, Huseyn pointed out that no one here has a magic wand and nothing will change immediately: "After the application of MHI, the same doctors will work in hospitals, and the hospitals will be the same. But as a result of the introduction of new mechanisms, positive changes will appear. Judging by foreign experience, in many countries the application of MHI is carried out in a certain period. For that the society must support this reform, and every citizen should contribute to its success. We can assess the application of MHI nationwide as a continuation of the social reforms realized in our country this year."
