Financial Market Supervision Authority liquidated – Presidential Decree

November 28, Fineko/abc.az. The Financial Market Supervision Authority (FIMSA) has been liquidated and all its powers have been transferred to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that a decree on the occasion was signed by President Ilham Aliyev.

In accordance with the presidential decree FIMSA has been abolished, and its powers, including its functions and rights in the field of licensing, regulation and supervision of the financial services market, protection of the rights of investors and consumers of financial services, as well as property have been switched to the CBA.
