Azerbaijan repairs 428-km section of Baku - Boyuk Kesik railroad

December 20, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani Railways (ADY) continues major repair of Baku - Boyuk Kesik railroad.

ADY reports that the overhaul of the 9.2-km Garasu-Padar section of the railroad has started.

"The repair of this section will finish within 5 days," ADY informed.

On 14 April 2015 ADY and Czech company MORAVIA STEEL signed an additional agreement to the export agreement on the 2nd phase of the project of reconstruction of Azerbaijani railway lines. The contract provides for logistics and overhaul of the 600 km railway line Baku – Boyuk Kesik. To date, 428 km of railroads have been repaired within the 2nd phase.
