December 11, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan observes growth of e-commerce.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-said statement was made by MasterCard head for Azerbaijan Erdem Chakir.

He noted that MasterCard will also take part in this growth, and some works are planned in this regard. Talking about future plans, Chakir pointed out that work on increase of non-cash payments will be mainly fastened in Azerbaijan: "In 2019, as you know, there were many innovations, and this will continue next year. In 2020 we’ll hold a lottery game. The main goal is to instill in people the concept of non-cash payments. Precisely playing the lottery will promote to an increase in card payments between people and a decrease in cash payments. More details about this will be reported soon. Our goal is to develop digital and mobile banking in Azerbaijan."
