Azerbaijan's customs officers avert attempt to import 'tramadol' in detergent

December 22, Fineko/abc.az. Employees of the Astara customs administration have averted the attempt to import a drug from Iran into the country.

The State Customs Committee (SCC) reports that 1491 units of Tramadol tablets were confiscated in hand luggage of an Azerbaijani citizen crossing the border from Iran.

"The total weight of the identified tablets was 298.2 grams," the message says.

Investigations are under way into the fact.
