January 14, Fineko/abc.az. A meeting dedicated to the results of 2019 and presided by Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev tookplace on 13 January.

ABC.AZ reports that at the meeting the president tasked the government to take very serious steps on the insurance of property.

President Aliyev said that very serious steps should be taken on the insurance of property, including enlightening in this area this year and in the following years.

"In this regard, it is necessary to organize various events, inform citizens in details about the steps being taken. I task the government to pay attention to this matter. At the same time, this will have positive impact on the development of our country's insurance sector. We task the government that means the Cabinet Ministers. The Cabinet should ensure integration between the Real Estate Service and the Compulsory Insurers Bureau, and prepare a sample protocol for issuing a fine. The Central Bank, in turn, should indicate the place to insurance companies."
