Export operations in private sector grew more than by 29%

January 17, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan carried out export operations in the total amount of $7.597 bn in the private sector for the past year.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee that the cost of export operations conducted by the private sector increased by 29.5% in 2019 compared with 2018.

Thus, last year 38.7% of country’s all exports came from the private sector (by 8.5% more versus 2018).

Also, during the reporting period imports conducted by the private sector grew by 4.1% a year and amounted to $8.47 bn in 2019.

The share of the private sector in the total volume of imports in the country decreased from 71% (2018) to 62%.
