Privatization of state-run insurer Azersigorta into OJSC postponed for indefinite term

December 26, Fineko/abc.az. Next structural changes can be carried out in the structure of Azersigorta, the only state-governed commercial insurance company.

Company’s deputy chairman of board Aftandil Hajiyev say that some other structural changes are not ruled out.

"But today this question is not so actual," Hajiyev said.

Earlier, the insurer announced preparation of a project on its restructuring, in particular its transfer into an open joint-stock company and sale of part of assets.

The Financial Market Supervision Chamber reports that they have not received any appeal from the Company on the occasion to date.
