Demirbank’s deposits to be compensated for AZN 63.5 million

December 27, Fineko/abc.az. The size of the Demirbank’s deposits to be compensated totals AZN 63.5 million.

Financial Market Supervision Chamber reports that Demirbank numbered totally 55,213 depositors, and deposits of 52,732 depositors do not exceed AZN 1,000.

The size of non-compensable deposits at the Bank is AZN 28.3 million.

Demirbank’s license was revoked on 23 December 2017 in connection with Bank's total capital non-compliance to the minimum requirement, and due to the fact that coefficient of adequacy of overall capital is below 3% and lack of the ability to meet obligations to creditors.
