December 27, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Culture & Tourism of Azerbaijan approves the pricing policy of local hoteliers.

Culture & Tourism Minister Abulfaz Garayev has stated that rooms at the most of the domestic hotels have already been filled or booked by the New Year’s Holiday.

"Majority of citizens made a decision to rest in the country and therefore hotels attach great importance to the organization of entertainment programs," the minister said.

He added that prices at local hotels are not high in comparison with hotels around the world.

"Higher prices on weekends and holidays is an international practice. Hotels can render services for every potential tourist - in some hotels the room price does not exceed 50 manats and some ofer rooms at 1,000 manats," the minister emphaiszed.
