Oil prices rise after strong fall day before, while Azeri Light falls by $2.64

February 25, Fineko/abc.az. Oil prices are recovering during Tuesday’s trading after the highest drop for seven weeks the day before.

Following the trading on 24 February at the London ICE Futures Exchange, the price of April’s Brent oil futures fell by $2.20 (3.76%) to $56.30 per barrel. By 11:10 am, Brent futures for April grew by $0.58 (1.03%) up to $56.88 per barrel.

At the end of trading on 24 February at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), April’s WTI oil futures fell in price by $1.95 (3.65%) to $51.43 per barrel. By 11:10 am, WTI futures for April rose by $0.52 (1.01%) up to $51.95 per barrel.

Azerbaijani crude oil Azeri Light collapsed in price by $2.64 (4.38%) to $57.57 per barrel.
