February 26, Fineko/abc.az. Thanks to the growth of manat deposits over the past 2 years, 95% of our loans are given in mantas and that allows us to eliminate currency risk fully.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-mentioned statement was made by Anar Hasanov, chairman of the board of AccessBank.

He noted that potentially dollar loans can only be given to companies that have dollar revenues, respectively:" If we talk about the existing portfolio of AccessBank, a lot of dollar-denominated loans were given in the past, some of which were restructured as a result of devaluation. Customers are still experiencing some difficulties with repayment on some loans. The ratio of the share of loans in manats and foreign currency is 70% and 30% respectively. The dollar loan portfolio is still being repaid."
