Problem loans in Azerbaijan increased again – about AZN 34 million

February 28, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank has published a report on the financial condition of the banking sector.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the CBA’s report data that the overdue loans amounted to AZN 1.306 bn at the end of January 2020 (against AZN 1.27 bn at the end of January 2019). Thus, the overdue loans (problem loans) in Azerbaijan grew by AZN 33.8 million for January.

The total share of overdue loans in credit investments increased from 8.3% up to 8.4%.

The total credit investments at the end of January 2020 reached AZN 15.413 bn. In January the credit investments increased by AZN 215 million. At the end of 2019 the total credit investments amounted to AZN 15.298 bn.
