March 4, Fineko/abc.az. Baku has a lot of sensitive moments in the issue of parking. One of these points is the high density of cars in the city.

ABC.AZ was informed about this by expert Elmeddin Muradli, when he was commenting on the president's task to Baku Transport Agency’s chair Vusal Kerimli to eliminate the problem of parking in Baku.

According to Muradli, there are such places and streets in Baku where motor vehicles should not enter. The expert noted that it would be better if the streets close to the Fountain Square would be intended exclusively for pedestrians: "It is wrong to enter there by car. But at the same time, a place for normal parking must be created somewhere. That is, if you create any restrictions, you must also create conditions. For example, in some countries of the world, cars are prohibited from entering many streets. Citizens park their cars and move safely on public transport. But we know what the state of public transport is. Therefore, we need to carry out parallel work. When some measures are taken but others are delayed, the result is expected."
