KOBIA to partner with UK

March 10, Fineko/abc.az. The Agency for the Development of Small & Medium-sized Businesses (KOBIA) will cooperate with the UK in the field of small and medium-sized businesses.

ABC.AZ reports that in the meeting held between Agency's chairman of board Orhan Mammadov and James Sibley, Deputy Head of EU & International Affairs at Federation of Small Businesses the parties exchanged views on KOBIA’s activities, cooperation with relevant structures of foreign countries, including the UK, and exchange of experience in providing services to startups and SMEs.

In the meeting with a member of the Board of Directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD), Tashkin Temiz, it was discussed Bank’s cooperation in supporting SMEs within Strategy for 2019-24, as well as in the field of public-private partnership. In the meeting with Deputy CEO of the London Chamber of Commerce & Industry Peter Bishop the sides exchanged information about KOBIA’s activities and the Chamber, about services provided by SMEs, discussed the possibility of Azerbaijani companies’ connecting to the world's largest network of business support - Enterprise Europe Network, services, SMEs, exchange of experience in the field of access to markets and increasing knowledge and skills of SMEs in exports.
