Azerbaijan forms 56% of world's profit oil

January 4, Fineko/abc.az. To date Azerbaijan has produced 250 million tons of profit oil from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli oilfield block.

Vice president of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Khoshbakht Yusifzade has stated that the project participants have been receiving profit from it for the last 18 years.

As of 1 December 2017 the volume of profit oil reached 250 million tons that makes up 56% of entire profit oil sold on the world market," Yusifzadeh said.
