Entry/exit to Baku is banned until 29 March

March 17, Fineko/abc.az. The passage of transportation vehicles registered in the cities and districts of Azerbaijan and their passengers to the cities of Baku, Sumgait and Absheron district will be stopped starting from 12 pm on 19 March until 29 March.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the data of the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet Ministers that passenger vehicles (buses, minibuses, taxis, etc.) registered in Baku, Sumgait and Absheron district are prohibited for transporting passengers from other cities and districts of the country to the cities of Baku, Sumgait and Absheron district.

Vehicles and their passengers registered in the cities of Baku, Sumgait and Absheron region are allowed to enter the city of Baku freely.

From all cities and districts of the country, except Sumgait and Absheron, passenger transportation by rail to Baku, Sumgait and Absheron district is stopped.

Passenger traffic has been suspended from the country's airports to Baku.

In order to maintain trade relations, meet the needs for food and other everyday goods of the daily demand, the movement of all transport and cargo vehicles is free.

Legal liability measures will be applied towards persons who violate the rules of the special pass regime.
